Electrical engineering is a branch of engineering that deals with the study and application of electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism. Electrical engineers work to design, develop, test, and supervise the manufacturing of electrical equipment, systems, and components such as electric motors, generators, power transmission systems, communication systems, navigation systems, and control systems.

They apply their knowledge of physics, mathematics, and computer science to develop new technologies, improve existing ones, and solve complex problems related to the generation, distribution, and use of electrical energy and electronic devices. Electrical engineering is a broad field, encompassing various sub-disciplines such as power engineering, control engineering, electronics, telecommunications, and computer engineering.
